Super Effective Diet Snacks
Who else wants to learn how to snack better on a diet?
The majority of dieters believe snacking is their mortal enemy. It is true that it can be, but it can also be your BEST friend.
Get comfortable and give me your attention for a couple of minutes. Here are two diet snacks which are not only safe to snack on, but will contribute to your weight loss efforts!
Diet Snacks
1. Apples…
Apples may be the BEST snack of all time. They taste sooo good!
But this is not (completely) why you should eat them. Each apple contains copious amounts of fibre (4-5 grams each) which has two humongous benefits.
The first is that fibre fills you up much faster than other foods. Therefore, this will allow you to curb your hunger much better while eating less. Therefore, you are going to decrease your overall calorie intake WITHOUT feeling like you are starving yourself.
The second is that fibre keeps your digestive tract running optimally. A healthy digestive tract means a healthier overall digestive process which will allow less fat storage during the digestion of foods.
2. Protein Shakes…
These may not be seen as your traditional snack. Probably because they aren’t really a food!
However, protein shakes contain large amounts of protein which is a vital factor in weight loss. Protein stimulates muscle growth. Just in case you didn’t know, muscle burns WAY more calories than fat.
Protein is your friend!
The best part is that protein shakes contain very little sugar in them, and virtually zero carbohydrates. In other words, drinking protein only gives you positive results.
Integrate these two snacks into your diet and you will enjoy the benefits. They will be off the charts!
